The aim of this project was to create distinctive packaging for a limited collection of coffees, by devising a visual identity and associated graphics. The proposal was based on a fictitious collaboration with La Durée, a brand synonymous with luxury and elegance. The collection features five of the world's most prestigious coffees, each with its own packaging designed to tell the unique story of its origin.

The main challenge was to design packaging that was both simple and practical, while incorporating La Durée's characteristic luxury codes. It was also a question of reconciling aesthetics and functionality with an eco-responsible approach. To achieve this, I opted for reusable and recyclable aluminum packaging, enabling customers to refill their boxes in-store, rather than buying a new pack. This concept aimed to reduce environmental impact while offering a personalized, premium experience.
The design is inspired by the five-petal coffee flower, symbolizing the five coffee varieties featured in this collection. The sleek, minimalist aluminum base is designed to hold the five cans of coffee, each identified by a distinctive color. An integrated ring allows the base to be moved easily, even when full.
The eco-responsible dimension of the project is reinforced by the use of sustainable aluminum packaging. Customers can refill their boxes in-store, minimizing waste and contributing to an environmentally-friendly approach, while retaining the luxury of the La Durée brand.

This packaging project for a limited collection of coffees successfully combines luxury, eco-responsibility and visual storytelling. Inspired by the refined world of La Durée, it offers customers a unique experience, combining elegant design, practicality and respect for the environment. The end result combines aesthetics and functionality, while highlighting the history and origin of each coffee, making each box an object in its own right.
